URAC Core Accreditation
In 2009, LifeCare was awarded the Core Accreditation from URAC, a Washington, DC-based health care accrediting organization. URAC establishes quality standards for the health care industry and is widely recognized throughout the health care industry and federal and state government agencies as a measure of an organization’s quality.

Breastfeeding-Friendly Business Award
In 2008, the Connecticut Breastfeeding Coalition presented LifeCare with the Gold Award, the highest recognition available, for our commitment to supporting mothers at work. LifeCare was one of only five Connecticut organizations to receive the award.

Purdue University Center of Excellence Award
LifeCare’s call center is certified as a center of excellence by the Center for Customer-Driven Quality™ at Purdue University for its superior operational efficiency, service level standards, process management, customer satisfaction, leadership, resources and employee training. Other companies recognized for their call center excellence include Microsoft, Continental Airlines, and MetLife.
